Brentwood FC vs Maldon and Tiptree FC

I had a 40 minute journey to local Essex side Brentwood Town FC, the home of the television show TOWIE. I arrived 45 minutes before the game kicked off with Maldon and Tiptree looking well up for this game following their 3-2 win over Great Wakering Rovers, even though Rovers only had 10 men.

Substitute Joe Pearman came on to score the goal that would finish the game at 1-1. M&TFC where reduced to 10 men when forward Sos Yao was alleged...
Striker Sos Yao, who was red carded during the game.
to elbow former M&TFC player Lee Blackburn. Prior to this M&TFC gave the home side a penalty which they converted to make the score 1-0. M&TFC defended for the their lives, and their performance was one to be proud off.

Half Time: Brentwood Town 1 - 0 Maldon and Tiptree

When subs Jack Stevenson and Joe Pearman came on the game tilted in M&TFC favour and it was Pearman who scored the goal to make the scores level, with a fantastic goal from just in side the penalty area on the far left hand side.

Scorer of Maldon's equalizer.
My man of the match went to Ian Cousins because of his outstanding performance at the heart of the defence. All of the players done very well, but Ian just edged them on this occasion.
